The Company:
A major E&P operator with a global presence.

The Role:
This is for a tanker-FPSO conversion project. The fabrication work will be performed in Singapore and includes:
• Tanker refurbishment and conversion
• Topside modules fabrication
• Turret and buoy fabrication
• Integration of the FPSO

The Inspectors will report to the Singapore Quality Site Lead, who will issue work instructions. The technical site team including civil marine, topsides, construction and commissioning personnel will work with the inspection team to define the inspection activities.

Requirements:
Marine Systems Mechancial Inspector that specializes in Marine systems. The inspector will assessment the existing marine systems of the tanker. Inspect the appropraite demolition and or refurbishment of the marine systems. Marine System of particular intrest for the site team are: the Propulsion system and engine room, the vessel's life saving systems (incl fire fighting), the vessels steam and condensate systems, the vessel's control and navigation systems, Power generation, Cargo and the installaiton of bow thrusters.

Advantage to have both tanker maintenance and FPSO experience. Either sea-going experience with dry-dock or shipyard/ship repair background.
