Our client is one of the largest providers of energy consultancy and engineering support services in the Uk. Within the nuclear sector they have an exceptional reputation for delivering innovative, cost-effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators, regulators and suppliers to nuclear licensed sites.

The Role:
We currently require a Marketing and Bid Coordinator for our Central region (based in Warrington) to cover a nine month maternity leave period. This is an excellent development opportunity for a candidate wishing to gain exceptional experience in a modern marketing role covering marketing, bidding, digital communications, and business development.

Key elements of the role include supporting the implementation of marketing and business development plans, bid management, key account management, digital communications and gathering business intelligence. Strong communication and project management skills are essential

The Marketing and Bid Coordinator will be involved in the Bid management – implementation of our bidding processes and tools to maintain quality propositions to clients.

Support business development activity concentrating on targeted growth and key account management through research, thought leadership, implementation of digital strategy and case study production.

Drive digital media strategy in the Warrington office to deliver business development strategy

Ensure business development teams are kept up to date with industry news, market research and competitor activities.

The Marketing and Bid Coordinator will Carry out in-depth market research and lead on market intelligence development

Coordinate and write news and external publication articles

Coordinate and manage seminars, exhibitions and events

Ensure effective capture of client data (contact information, intelligence) to inform business development and marketing decisions and activities (CRM)

Use and promotion of CRM for account and pipeline management

The Marketing and Bid Coordinator will Collect and keep up-to-date experience, client references and testimonials

Collect and update project images

Internal communications activity as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or relevant professional experience

Previous experience within a professional services environment

Knowledge of local construction industry preferred

Demonstrable experience working on bids

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management skills and ability to deliver projects to time and budget

Strong interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels

Strong computer literacy, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook packages

Ability to present written information in a professional and concise format

Demonstrable experience of writing for multiple audiences

Excellent proof reading skills

Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively

Ability to plan and coordinate events

Understanding and interest in marketing communications and social media

Excellent team working skills

Brand awareness
