The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Drive the client’s commercial activities by developing and implementing marketing strategies and plan to achieve expected level of sales targets.
1. Develop and manage the client's sales & marketing strategy in order to achieve the planned sales targets aligned with the Business & Services strategy.
2. Monitor the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy and take necessary action to correct any deviation from the strategy.
3. Collaborate with finance in order to set the marketing & sales overall budget required to achieve the strategic objectives.
4. Develop and communicates a clear commercial vision of the future, consistent with the client’s long term corporate goals.
5. Oversee sales & marketing forecasting efforts and ensure alignment with the client’s overall sales projections.
6. Analyse forecasting models to identify sales & marketing trends and develop the strategies and action plans accordingly.
7. Keep abreast of industry and market dynamics in order to align with market practice and provide feedback to Senior client executives.
8. Manage the sales force effectively to ensure that individual sales teams are meeting and exceeding specified targets.
9. Implementation of Sales Excellence and Six Sigma throughout the department to ensure compliance with set quality standards.
10. Establish close business relationships with the client’s main customers and act as a contract negotiator in important deals.
11. Manage and validate various sales campaigns to ensure that they effectively aligned with the goals of the department.
12. Ensure all regulatory compliance for marketing & sales activities are met.
13. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Managerial Duties:
1. Direct and manage respective Divisions in performing their roles, responsibilities and delegated tasks.
2. Conduct performance evaluation reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional skills and knowledge.
3. Provide input in setting the Department’s annual budget, in accordance with the Function’s strategic goals and objectives.
4. Detect needed and additional skills or individuals in order meet and exceed the set of objectives.
5.Create a productive and healthy work environment within the Department, and foster high attention to details and efficient knowledge transfer among employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
• Master in Business Administration is preferred.
