Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities - Social Media
Maintaining awareness of client Group/Region social media objectives, policies and plans and ensuring UK SM activity is consistent with these.
Monitoring client Group/Region and UK social media channels
Monitoring stakeholder activity SM channels: industry, media, competitors
Monitoring all SM activity across all networks for specitied activity
Engaging with client Group/Region social media players
Sourcing text, images, videos from comms team and subject matter experts for blog posts on current channels in line with strategic SM objectives
Creating 'call to action' content on client web sites as appropriate
Publishing blog posts from sourced materials
Originating and publishing micro-blog posts
Researching other networks/SM activities which the client could become active on.
Develop portals on existing networks (e.g. facebook apps, youtube)

Responsibilities - e-Marketing
Working with marketing colleagues across the business, and in compliance with current e-marketing legislation:
Assist with the creation of and maintain a marketing database using proprietary software / managed solution
Assist with the creation and delivery of corporate e-marketing campaigns and related landing/call to action content
Provide management reports of campaign metrics and outcomes
Provide followup actions to businesses as appropriate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Active participant/contributor to social media in a professional context
Marketing diploma / degree with e-marketing and/or social media bias

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in a corporate B2B communications environment
Experience of database / contact management
Copywriting/editorial experience
Project management skills

Personal qualities
Excellent communicator
Proactive
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Attention to detail
