The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This Launch Events Planning Manager vacancy is a new role within the Global Brand Extension team that has evolved over the last 12 months. Of degree calibre, you will bring a strong marketing background and a proven track record in managing events in both UK and international locations. This includes experience of overseeing the logistics and financial management coupled with solid brand management experience. The manager will be involved in the organisation of events from conception through to completion. This role will see the successful candidate develop strategies and plans to deliver future Product Launch activity for the business. You will set, monitor and forecast an accurate Launch Event budget, as well as focus on the development of other event programmes which are pivotal to the overall Launch Event Strategy. In addition, you will be required to work with the Global Events Manager in order to support the ever increasing volume of work coming through the department. You will receive and interpret event briefs from across the business, determine the detailed requirements and advise on method of execution, design events and develop comprehensive Production Schedules and Critical Path Timing Plans in line with event delivery dates. As part of the Global Events Team, you will report directly to the Global Events & Exhibitions Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A substantial level of event and industry related experience is preferable. Possess event management, management and leadership skills and attributes that allow you not only to drive the event process, but provide leadership and guidance to events partners, venues and supporting agencies. Excellent analytical and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills - be able to work under time restrictions, work with numerous personality types, work with personnel at all levels within the organisation. Motivated self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team. Organise, prioritise work with little or no supervision. Excellent communication skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Flexibility, ability to identify and shift work and priorities as needed. Flexibility to travel when required, sometimes at short notice.
