The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To provide a confidential administrative service to the Functional Director and their first line reports, ensuring that office activities are in line with Company and departmental objectives and agreed timings.

Scope of the Role

- Manage diary and arrange/coordinate meetings
- Handle/decide/delegate routine matters (verbal & written) independently
- Draft letters/memos/documents for signature and ensure timely distribution
- Arrange national and international travel and process expense claims
- Make travel arrangements for external visitors when required
- Read, route, prioritise incoming mail/telephone calls
- Read, prioritise and where relevant, handle correspondence
- Ensure timely availability of documentation needed for meetings and presentations
- Establish and maintain an accurate, comprehensive and accessible filing system
- Ensure confidentiality of personnel matters as well as corporate product and project matters
- Act as a receptionist i.e. meet and greet visitors
- Arrange entertaining on request

Qualifications & Experience

- Good general level of education – O’level/GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
- Secretarial/administration qualifications are desirable
- Fully PC literate – Advanced level of Microsoft Office is essential
- Accurate keyboard skills
- Proven self-starter and able to work independently
- Communicate effectively particularly at senior levels in business
