Job Title: Mass Properties Engineer - 20584
Job Location: West Midlands
Rate/Salary: Negotiable
Duration: Ongoing
Residency: U.K/E.U

The Role:
Maintain programme weight database
- Calculate weight, centre of gravity and moment of inertia using bespoke JLR toolset (training will be given) and Visplus
- Liase with design engineers to obtain latest weight status and target agreement
- Competitor benchmarking studies at vehicle and component level
- Generating metrics and reports for engineering reviews

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Project management & leadership skills, with a clear focus on data managament driving cross functional delivery of project requirements. Understanding of mass properties coupled with an analytical approach to engineering design sloutions Strong IT skills (excel, access, CAD etc)
Automotive or Engineerring background
Degree or equivelent experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of Mass Properties desireable, but not essential
