The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
To manage all work associated with master data management following the implementation of GWMS (Global Work Management System). Provide UKU with the capability to manage its master data requirements and to comply with the agreed global data standards. This role is essential now that the responsibility for data governance and compliance has been devolved to the Assets.

Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountabilities for HSSE, all employees are accountable for ensuring that they take care of themselves and adopt exemplary safe behaviours.

- Spare parts data input associated with asset equipment
- Support in creating engineering BOM’s and inputting the data into Maximo
- Data input to support the Spares Analysis
- C&P support elements:
- Own the Create/Modify Material Process
- Manage new materials requests from work preps in the form of “generic” /free text items or material master request form
- Search for in inventory and catalogued items
- Validate request form (SAP/Maximo/Struxure)
- Determine type of request
- Create new materials in the SMD (Cataloguing)
- Pass to procurement
- Assist in managing data for frame agreement type contracts (price books)
- Update Maximo attributes for new materials
- Manage bulk data cataloguing through GKTD
- Manage bulk upload of data to SAP
- Administer data in SAP/Maximo/SAP (obsolescence/duplicates/system admin)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- An experienced cataloguer with an oil and gas background
- Able to work with and influence other functional teams
- A good understanding and working knowledge of supply chain systems and processes is required.
- Experience of Maximo and SAP
- A materials control background is essential together with an understanding of the oil and gas industry specifications and standards.
- Good level of influencing and communication skills.
- Good level of relationship skills
- Able to work on own initiative and have detailed experience
- Methodical and detailed approach
- Process driven
