The Company:
The company is the world's leading midstream marine services company and a vital link in the global energy supply chain.
The addition of the four vessels increases for Brazil-based shuttle tanker fleet size by approximately 30 percent and marks a key milestone.

The Role:
Authority to make decisions regarding safety and pollution prevention;
Reporting to Vessel Manager;
Ensuring that the personnel under their charge operate in accordance with the company"s health, safaty, environment and quality policies;
Verifying thay the Safety Management System (SMS) of the Company is functioning correctly;
Promoting safety and risk awareness;
Ensuring that all rules and regulations relating to international bodies;
Staying on the bridge at all times during Pilotage, unless relieved by the Chief Officer;
Verifying that all certification required by current legislation;
Ensuring that all logbooks and records are kept according to statutory and company requirements;
Ensuring that there is adequate supervision of all cargo handling operations;
Controlling all purchasing and spending on board;
Completing an Onboard Navigation Procedures Audit;
Undertaking onboard inspections as required by company procedures;
Carry out regular inspections.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in shuttle tankers is extremely important.

This position is just for Brazilians candidates or from Merco Sul countries.

Desirable Experience:
4 calendar years experience in Tankers or Dry Cargo as appropriate excluding shipboard training as Cadet.
