The Role:
-Coordinate with users to identify their requirements and propose work plan and budget to Head, Material Management for review to justify work plan and budget for the areas under responsibility.
-Monitor and follow up stock expenditures to be in line with approved budget.
-Plan, manage and optimize stock for the Company’s operational activities to prevent stock shortage while minimizing stock holding costs.
-Screen slow/ non-moving or obsolete stock items. Initiate and propose damaged/obsolete stock items upon user approval to write-off and dispose.
-Coordinate and check with expert departments for safety review/ risk assessment of the purchase of specific materials (lifting equipments, chemical, etc.) and/or for special instructions/certification requirements of those items to ensure that all works under responsibility are done in accordance with Company’s stock and material management.
-Perform electronic stock management system (SAP) and provide stock-related reports and analyses to analyze and forecast future requirement and monitor the stock availability.
-Assist Head, Material Management in identifying problems in internal procedures and systems and propose solutions to improve system efficiency.
-Promote an execution of Price Agreement to improve procurement policy.
-Perform stocktake as planned and proposed by Head, Material Management to verify the physical existence of stock level and ensure all transaction i.e. receipts, issuance, returns and transfers have been correctly and completely captured in system.
-Follow the Company’s HSE policy and regulations in all works under responsibility for safe and efficient operations through careful follow-up activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commercial or related fields.
-Good knowledge of materials, material planning, stock management methods, database management and accounting
-Good analytical skills
-Ability to operate PC and common business software plus knowledge of stock management software package (SAP)
