The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
In this role you’ll be part of the Supply Base Operations, which includes preparation of freight for transport, material handling, local transport, material preparation and load preparation. Operational activities include chain of responsibility and supervision of contractors in daily execution of all operational tasks.

You’ll be responsible for providing safe, reliable and efficient supply base and material movement services to our client's Drilling campaign, delivering incident and injury free operations. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Oversight of Supply Base personnel in performing various Supply Chain activities / functions in support of our client's Drilling campaign
• Coaching & mentoring of all yard personnel
• Non Conformance Reporting
• Resource & equipment scheduling for yard operations
• Management of freight movements within Company area of operations and between local vendors
• Ensure all manifests and associated documentation is completed before freight is moved, including all Dangerous Goods and offshore lift compliance requirements
• Being an active advocate of our client’s operational excellence processes, especially focusing on safety and Quarantine.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you’ll need to have:

• 5yrs+ in similar role in O&G industry
• Excellent and confident communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and in busy operational environment
• Developed planning, problem solving and multi tasking skills
• Ability to schedule, arrange, coordinate, disseminate and supervise
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry practice & equipment
• High personal commitment to HSE
• Certification in Dangerous Good modules for Air, Sea & Road including the storage and handling of such commodities
• Certification in Load Restraint modules, certification II in Transport & Logistics, as well as:
o Applied First Aid
o Supervisor Essentials Workshop (SEW)
o Defensive Driver Training
o MSIC Certification
o Class C Driving License

This position is for 12 months, located in Dampier, working 10 hours per day, FIFO
