The Company:
Our Client is engaged in front end studies, modifications to existing platforms operations and maintenance contracts, field decommissioning and removal. The company has some 2,200 employees. Field development with new platforms covering all engineering disciplines. Procurement, material administration and project management.

The Role:
• Work closely with buyers, production planners, manufacturing & projects to ensure information is communicated to all stakeholders without delay.
• Produce, analyse and present SAP-generated materials lookahead reports as required.
• Analyse all demand messages and either transfer excess stock if available, or raise purchase requisitions to satisfy demand.
• Advise buyers of economic order quantity (EOQ) and desired delivery date to meet project requirements in a cost-effective manner.
• Advise production planners of critical components for every order based on analysis of SAP lookahead reports and accurate lead time information.
• Maintain adequate stock / inventory levels.
• Maintain master data for all materials including most up to date standard costs.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other organisational functions (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Tendering, R&D etc).
• Monitor and Control all aspects of the supply chain processes to ensure a smooth, efficient process flow of materials.
• Ensure that all company procedures are complied with and all actions are auditable whilst maintaining the highest personal, professional and ethical standards.
• Advise Quality Control inspectors of which materials should be prioritised in line with manufacturing schedule.
• Manage all ECN’s to ensure that affected materials are dealt with as per engineering disposition.
• Monitor and assist with the closing of all purchase orders including invoicing queries to enable projects to be closed out in a timely manner.
• Deal with excess stock to close out projects.
• Make decisions on when to make or when to buy materials.
• When scarce materials are needed for multiple projects, be able to allocate / prioritise to mitigate impact to business.
• Run weekly PO cancellation report and advise buyers accordingly.
• As necessary, perform other material-related tasks which require essentially the same level of skill and responsibility.
• Ensure agreed objectives and targets are achieved
