The Role:
Assignment Duties:

The Material Lead is responsible for ensuring that all Company assets are properly received, inventoried, stored, maintained and accounted for throughout the Fabrication Project Development Phase in Ersai

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Understand and at all times be proactive and support Company's Safety Program, Incident and Injury Free
* Coordinate receipt, quantity survey, non-damage confirmation, and traceability of Company Owned materials at all stages of handling (from initial receipt through final marine/road transportation to job site)
* Support and expedite release where required of Company material and equipment through custom protocol requirements
* Maintain an accurate account and inventory of all Company materials purchased by the Contractor which includes, bulk, CPI and local procured items
* Align process requirement to support delivery from EPC of ALL original shipping documentation for purpose of audit and hand off of material
* Work with the Package Delivery Engineers, Fabrication Manager, Project Procurement, Logistics and material teams to ensure alignment between MM plans, work processes and systems.
* Develop, implement and maintain necessary forms for control and traceability of materials and equipment as required for the project
* Assure proper storage and handling of Company assets at the various project sites by the Contractor
* Travel to other sites in Kazakhstan as required for material and fabrication oversight
* Must be able to immediately recognize typical oilfield material types and differences
* Must be able to read and understand piping drawings and shop drawings
* Proactively investigate outstanding items or concerns as related to duty assignment, provide timely responses to requests from project team members for material and equipment location or status updates
* Provide complete traceability of fabricated items from shop drawing to shipment to the offshore job site
* Work closely with and monitor Contractor's material handling and QA/QC department activities
* Work closely with and maintain contact with the Company Site project engineers as required
* Assist the Company Representative with the development of progress reports as required by the Fabrication Construction Manager, Material Manager and project team
* Performs all other duties as assigned over the course of the assignment
* Fluent in the English language both spoken and written
* Knowledgeable with and able to operate a personal computer
* Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Able to perform all duties with little or no supervision
