The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Systems Specialist with extensive supply chain process knowledge to join the Supply Chain Management team. This role plays a key part in supporting the Materials System Supervisor in integrating work processes with material management system requirements.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Provide recommendations on improving system management for materials
• Deploy the JD Edwards ERP to end users
• Liaise with IT regularly to achieve process alignment through systems development
• Work with other departments to establish partnerships to build systems that support inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls and practices
• Consult with Warehouse Management and Procurement Teams
• Support material data management, material planning and optimisation requirements
• Provide training and support on all procurement; inventory management, and warehousing operations system
• Ensure systems comply with all relevant legal, regulatory and corporate health, environmental, and safety (HES) requirements associated with operational procurement activity
• Ensure systems comply with corporate financial policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Maintain an internal and external network, and market and industry knowledge, identify and share best practices and approaches and lead continuous improvement of procurement operations processes and efficiency

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Warehousing process knowledge essential
• Previous experience as a super user/champion or with the implementation of an ERP system (JD Edwards, Mobile Solutions and other systems) is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Strong influencing skills
• Self motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
• Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals across all levels
