The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Reports to: Production Support & Engineering Manager
Liaises with: Material Control Manager/Drawing Office/Production/ Supervisors/ Engineers/Clients and Subcontractors.

Function:
Material Allocator provides a full material service to Production inclusive of nesting, allocation and reporting shortages.

Responsibilities:
• To ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures.
• Quality, Safety, Health And Environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
• To perform tasks which may be requested by Management, from time to time.
• To identify and report material shortages.
• To ensure efficient nesting of materials.
• To champion continuous improvements of existing Production Support Department methods, systems and procedures.
• Individual risk awareness within job role.
• Identify and highlight any further training requirements of their personnel.

Authority: N/A.

Competency Requirements:

• Successful SHE induction.
• BTEC/NVQ qualification in relevant discipline.
• Structural experience.
• Planning and organisational skills that enable the implementation of their duties and the company strategy.
• Communicate in a positive manner with company personnel.
• An understanding of company, Quality, Safety, Health And Environmental systems and programmes.
• Must be computer literate.
