The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. Our Client has operations in over 130 countries and has more than 95,000 employees worldwide.

The Role:
•For ensuring that all client material requirements for all operational sites are met.
•For ensuring that Materials Master Data is maintained accurately.

•Supervise and co-ordinate material requirements planning and stock management for all operational sites.
•Provide technical expertise in areas of specification, selection, procurement, inspection, storage and disposal of materials, spare parts and
equipment and to provide effective support to client units and to Procurement team.
•Stock analysis and reporting for Operations and Finance.
•Purchase of stock for planned maintenance.
•May control maintenance and repair of drilling material.
•Create and maintain the Materials Master Data for use across all areas of the company’s business.
•Proactively build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers in order to establish and maintain a highly effective service.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•HND level qualification or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a technical discipline.
•Extensive experience of SAP R3.
•Appropriate experience in a materials analyst role within the oil and gas industry preferred.
•Knowledge and understanding of Maintenance and/or Drilling materials and procedures preferred.
•Knowledge and understanding of inventory control and materials management processes.
•Understanding of material specification, certification and verification processes.
•Understanding of the interfaces between Materials function and user departments.
