Materials & Logistics Coordinator - Associate

The Company:
Are among the world’s largest producers of major commodities, including aluminium, copper, energy coal, iron ore, manganese, metallurgical coal, nickel, silver and titanium minerals, and uranium along with substantial interests in oil and gas.

The Role:
Measurement Analyst is responsible for the data analysis of Measurement records utilizing the Flow Cal system. The Measurement Analyst position will manage and edit the measurement data used in revenue allocation. Manage and Maintain the flow Cal system and review the measurement system daily performance.

* HSEC Responsibilities
o Understand and comply with applicable federal and state regulatory agency reporting and documentation requirements with regards to data processing, including Sarbanes Oxley, greenhouse gas, the client's Measurement Standard and BLM rules and regulations.
o Participate in safety meetings for employees and ensure compliance with safety manual and other industry safety standards.
o Identify and report safety hazards, observe all safety requirements and actively strive to provide a safe work environment for company employees, customers, contractors and the public
o Perform all duties in accordance with the client's Health, Safety and Environmental, standards, policies, and procedures.

* Operational Responsibilities
o Perform duties in accordance with all the client's policies and guidelines
o Compile, editing and balancing daily and monthly volumetric data into various software applications which generate usable documents within shared databases.
o Perform pre-close and closing procedures within established deadlines utilizing standardized check-lists.
o Validate preliminary and/or closed data for accuracy and completeness for transmittal to various internal and external sources.
o Work closely with production accounting to achieve monthly balanced allocations.
o Analyses and troubleshoots measurement deficiencies affecting field locations and accounting groups and apply knowledge to determine root cause and submits recommendations to Operations Superintendent.
o Works closely with field personnel to determine appropriate balance placement of new meters and gathering system changes utilizing knowledge of field operations and gas system knowledge.
o Acquire and apply knowledge of flow equations and sources of measurement error to prioritize work edits for corrective action; assist in maintaining and reconciling work edit reports for use in company L&U and MMBTU Efficiency evaluations.

* Project Responsibilities
o Participate in work teams to develop new systems development
o Assist with the Technical specifications for the measurement related systems.
o Commissioning and start up of new systems and ongoing testing to complete successfully cut over.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o High School or 2 degree with emphasis on applied sciences and algebra. Minimum 4 years industry related experience
o Strong technical knowledge in Flow Cal, Production Accounting, Gas Measurement, and Operational background.
o Advanced Excel spreadsheet knowledge including both mathematical and functionality formulas, multi-page workbooks, building macros and complex nested formulas.
o Windows based environment skills including Internet Explorer.
o Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
o Must be a team player as well as a goal-oriented individual who functions with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
o Self starter and capable of working independently
o Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management system
o Experience in working with engineers and / or multi-disciplinary teams preferred
o Strong health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance
