The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. Spending more than 20 years building a culture of safety and environmental stewardship that strives to achieve world-class performance, our client places the highest of priority on developing a strong safety focused culture.
The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Materials & Logistics Coordinator with a drilling and completions background. On offer is excellent site opportunity with 21/21 rotation, 12 month contract.
Your key duties and responsibilities include:
• You will be the offshore focal point for the materials and logistics requirement in order to ensure the efficient management of drilling equipment and personnel movements, all in accordance with the company’s material management, Logistics and HSE procedures
• You will develop and implement of the 14 day materials and logistics look ahead for the drilling campaign
• You will review the Drilling and Completion programmes and master equipment list to ensure all material requirements are met
• You will liaise with the drilling contractor and third party personnel to ensure all logistical requirements are met
• You will coordinate all equipment movements as per operational requirements from third party contractors to shorebase and rig site.
• You will coordinate refuelling, and transfers of bulk materials to rig.
• You will prepare inwards goods manifests as well as dangerous goods documentation in accordance with the company’s waste management policies.
• You will manage and maintain a complete material management system including inventory and material movements.
• You will be responsible for maintaining inventory of all operator equipment.
Being an active advocate of the company’s operational excellence processes, especially focusing on the following:
• Regularly engaging rig crews ensuring equipment is packed & adequately restrained prior to any material movements.
• Participating in offshore toolbox meetings, safety meetings and OET meetings, and providing representation at such forums as required.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have 5yrs+ experience in a similar role in O&G industry. Offshore experience in a similar role is essential.
