The Role:
Incumbent will be responsible for tracking and recording all tools. Incumbent is required monitor the tools / equipment AND new tools and equipment. Incumbent will need to be familiar with FMC tool management system and work closely with Ex-WORKS at FMC SERVICE Base in Aberdeen. Incumbent will participate in the tool handover process and he must have good visibility on what is coming and required by SITE (onshore/offshore) during project fabrication / drilling / offshore installation and construction phase of project including good visibility on management priority between SITE Works.

Incumbent will be the single point PROJECT contact for borrowed tools / equipment call-off / return (OLD + new tools). Incumbent will be pro-active in gaining technical / operational understanding of the tools being managed. Incumbent will follow-up the overall provision by FMC and provide all logistic supports required for the Construction and Installation phase of the project. As part of the role incumbent will work closely with project the SPS package tool engineer. In addition, incumbent will Support the LLI Coordinator in procurement and expediting the delivery of Long Lead Items (LLI) across all primary contractors and vendors, including tracking all LLI’s materials plus reporting on delivery status.

Activities
Incumbent primarily responsibilities as follows:
•Keep close track of all tools i.e. new plus old tools
•Keep close track of location of ALL tools i.e. onshore / offshore / yard etc.
•Work closely with Subsea Production System Team regarding new FMC Tools and delivery status
•Work closely with Operations Team
•Work closely with SURF Technical Manager
•Work closely with TEPUK tool service contract and base managers
•Work closely with Management Team & Planner to maintain visibility on priority between SITE Works
•Maintain and regularly update the project master TOOL tracking register.
•Work closely with Company contractors during yard and offshore phase.
•Support the LLI Coordinator in procurement and expediting the delivery of Long Lead Items (LLI) across all primary contractors and vendors, including tracking all LLI’s materials plus reporting on delivery status.
•Track all free issue material dates
•Expedite company materials where applicable
•Support material requirements, where applicable
•Maintain good relationships with vendors, manufacturers and fabricators, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project
•Liaise with Other disciplines, Safety, Cost, Planning and Administration sections to improve effectiveness of the overall Team.
•Liaise with Subsea Operations department to ensure that any common tooling requirements are identified and addressed between the department and the Project team
•Keep the Installation Construction Coordinator informed of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals
•Monitor the materials control movements and storage of materials and equipment including Contractor and Company Items.
•Assist in the preparation and organisation of the Material Handover processes between all Parties involved
•Monitor vendors, manufacturers and fabricators Material Management & Preservation activities at the various Materials sites
•Follow up vendors, manufacturers and fabricators Preservation Reports with the Installation Construction Coordinator
•Contribute to the preparation of daily/weekly reports in connection with the project Materials Control activities.
•Demonstrate commitment to SHE through Personal Safety Performance Contract
•Interface with vendors, manufacturers and fabricators Supply Chain Departments regarding shipments and customs control issues
•Ensure the vendors, manufacturers and fabricators provision of material receipts, handling, inventory control and distribution and maintain an auditable record of all material related transactions
•Ensure the vendors, manufacturers and fabricators carry out inspections of incoming materials to make sure they meet the quantity and material specifications of goods ordered and checks all items received, ensuring conformity to purchase orders
•Demonstrate commitment to SHE through Personal Safety Performance Contract

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Typically 10 plus years relevant project construction experience ideally gained in both an Operator and ESPCC Contractor
•Recognized level of expertise in construction discipline with a good knowledge of E&P general specifications
•Significant experience in materials control and management especially subsea tools i.e. FMC.
•Comprehensive knowledge of materials preservation and protection
•Good spoken and written English
•Computer literate in the use of MS Office suite plus Materials Databases
•Valid Medical Certificate which complies with Company Standards.
•Valid UK Driving Licence
•CSCS Card or equivalent Construction Site Safety Passport

•Position will be based in Aberdeen Project Office
•Extensive travel may be required to the various vendors, manufacturers and fabricators materials storage facilities
