The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
For our client we are recruiting for a Materials Controller to join their Drilling team based in the Perth office. The primary objective of this role will be to ensure that the SAP warehousing module system accurately reflects physical catalogued materials to support their Drilling activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Use of SAP Warehouse functionality for the recording of catalogued stock and inventory movements.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Drilling Staff for the generation of catalogue requests.
• Identify and source SAP input data and information from Drilling team.
• Goods Receipt (GR) of materials into stock against PO’s in SAP from manual Materials Receipt Reports (MRR’s) generated by Drilling personnel at their Supply Base and other remote locations (i.e Vendor premises)
• Review Consumption Reports (CR’s)and issue catalogued materials from SAP warehouse inventory to the correct well, cost centre or Joint Venture ownership code
• Monitor returns from the Rig and ensure these are accurately reflected in SAP inventory levels.
• Compare SAP inventory information against physical stock check reports received from the Supply Base, the Rigs and vendor premises. Resolve any discrepancies though adjustments and right-off in accordance with company MOA.
• May be required to on occasion to carryout physical stock check at their Supply Base and vendor premises.
• Responsible for reconciliation well construction inventory and reporting inventory quantities.
• Assist in developing materials movement and storage reports.
• Provide inventory and stock reports to assist in planning Exploration and Production activities.
• Planning and execution of physical stock checks
• Ensure inventory quantities are up to date in accordance business timing requirements and all reports are to be accurate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in dealing with warehousing, inventory, procurement and logistics processes
• Experience in use of SAP would be well regarded for this role
• Experience in supporting a large and diverse inventory supporting a 24 hour operation (preferably in an oil and gas industry)
• Exposure to Drilling and well construction activities is desirable
• Experience in logistics operations
