The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
• Control of all Material / Logistics and Procurement issues for the ShahDeniz2 Marine Group (Pipelines & Sub Sea).
• Control of Government or Customs issues related to the Import/Export of Materials and Equipment.
• Asset management, reporting, reconciliation and disposal through SOFAZ
• Marine Interface for Materials Control activities
• Preservation Systems operation and follow up requirements

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the focal point for the Materials Management for Company Provided Items on behalf of the client
• Ensure Contractors are operate in line with Client Materials Management expectations
• Review and maintain awareness of the requirements of the applicable Company Specifications, Contractor’s procedures.
• Control the Interface between E&P, Procurement, Logistics & Expediting office and the SD2 Marine Group Contractors on all matters relating to client Free Issued Equipment and Bulk Materials.
• To monitor the status of Equipment and Bulk Materials delivery against contract agreed schedule delivery dates, to identify and resolve potential shortfalls or actual concerns.
• Ensure Critical Materials are reported on the Procurement Expediting List maintained by the SCM planning engineer.
• Ensure that the interfaces between Project Procurement department and Area Management are effectively managed.
• Co-ordinate with the Freight Forwarders representatives on Customs & Import related matters pertaining to Company & Contractors supplied Equipment & Materials Imports and Exports.
• Co-ordinate through the JPK Engineering Office and AIOC PMT Engineering, the resolution of any major OS&D or M&EDR queries pertaining to Free Issued Equipment and Materials.
• To ensure, that the Contractors Materials Group are recording the receipt of all Free Issued Material & Equipment within the manner specified in the contract for this activity and within the time allowed.
• Continuous Audit of Contractors adherence to accepted Material Control, Procurement and Logistics Procedures.
• Represent Company’s interests on Materials related issues in meetings as required.
• Liaison with client Wells/Ops/Offshore Fabrication groups on Insurance spares requirement and arrange transfer.
• Control the reconciliation of all Marine Group projects equipment and material assets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic /experience requirements:
• Previous experience of working in Azerbaijan (Baku)
• Min. 10 years of Materials management in a leading role for Major Oil Companies or Contractors
• Understanding of M&S Equipment Preservation needs and experience in management of such systems
• Proven track record of Materials Management and suitable background references (pls provide reference letters if candidate is unknown to client SD2 M&S Management)
• Managed offshore equipment deliveries and liaison with Offshore Vessels/Rigs/Platforms

Skill requirements /personal attributes:
• Familiar with health, safety, environmental, commercial and quality issues.
• Capable of identifying problem areas early and proactively resolving issues
• Good communicator, both written and oral, computer literate
• Team player and good motivator
