The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves on conducting operations in accordance with world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
This is a senior role in which the successful candidate will be responsible for the application of SCM Procurement & Logistics Policy, Systems and Processes for a major project.
This will include supervising and training Materials Management/Logistics personnel, along with ensuring Contractor maintains strict adherence to agreed Company procedures for timely and effective purchasing, shipment and receipt of Project assets/goods.
The candidate will be responsible for the Project defined Materials inventory system to ensure complete traceability and accountability is achieved including surplus and filed returned material.
Other aspects of the role will be (but are not limited to):
• To ensure all subordinate personnel are familiar with Company's Specs & standards/procedures
and that compliance is carried out within area of responsibility.
• Assist & provide advice in the preparation of presentations to clients and project teams on Logistic Materials Management procedures, organization and systems.
• To prepare project Materials Management Plan; Materials Plan; Vendors’ List & Preservation procedures etc. as Project documents & guidance and reference to the Contractors.
• To utilize the computer aided E1 /Ariba system and JDE system and other manual systems to be used on project, for materials information transfer, control and reporting.
• To monitor the project activities schedule and the performance of all parties against the schedule plan. To identify problems, and act as a focal point for problems affecting the supply of materials interfacing with the contractor as required.
• To monitor and assist with the establishment of material receiving, storage and distribution of materials at sites. Ensures the provision of adequate local information processing equipment and ensures the orderly transfer of correct data and information to site warehouses.
• Co-ordinates the site close-out of materials management issues and provide assistance for the production of close out documentation as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A degree qualification or equivalent is essential for visa purposes, as is extensive experience in a similar lead position.
RoK or CIS major project experience will be extremely beneficial.
