The Company:
Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with valuable assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Materials Management Admin to join their established team for a 3 month contract. The successful candidate will have previous experience in SAP and Materials Management. The primary function of this position is to plan, organise and control the management of material activities in accordance to relevant Policy, Standards and Guidelines.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Participate and contribute to the development and implementation of Procurement change initiatives
* Review and maintain Inventory Management Processes
* Review and maintain system records in relation to inventory management, materials requirement planning, forecasting and storage
* Control the Inventory Management function in accordance with policy, standards and guidelines
* Liaise with key Stakeholders and the Catalogue Administrator
* Assist in the development of Inventory Management reports
* Provide bi-annual financial reports to the Finance Group
* Provide statistical reports on Materials Management activities and performance on a monthly basis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Essential SAP experience
* Previous experience in Materials Management planning & forecast
* Logistics Inventory-warehousing experience
* Demonstrate good computing skills, including the ability to use Microsoft suite office
* Highly developed conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Procurement experience in a large multi-disciplined engineering focussed commercial organisation
* Demonstrated knowledge in Warehousing and distribution networks and disposal methods and solutions
