The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This is a new, but high profile department, and as a result the role will require a high degree of confidence, self-drive, and commitment. Delivery against performance objectives is essential. The role will require a creative individual who will help develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for the Prototype Purchase department. The role will require a close working relationship with both Production Purchasing and Prototype Cost Engineering.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Able to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business to deliver Prototype Purchasing objectives.
*Have a continuous improvement mind-set. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods.
* Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined and able to work on your own initiative.
* Ability to work independently and also part of a team to deliver fantastic business results Strong levels of drive, determination and leadership skills to work in a changing environment and manage
conflicting priorities for self and others Ability to interpret data and format in a concise manner.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt and change plans at short notice.
* Experience of managing complex projects with the ability to work to strict deadlines and to drive others to meet commitments.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Use of Ford legacy DOS based systems
