The Role:
•Review manual paper requisition requests prior to input in SAP.
•Creation of requisitions in SAP to procure Materials, Rentals, Services.
•Liaise with Material Cataloguing Group to request Material Master Numbers where required.
•Maintain existing requisitions in SAP where changes have been requested after original creation.
•Maintain Vendor lists for Requisitions / Purchase Orders.
•Liaise with Procurement Department / Engineers / Vendors on a daily basis to ensure P.O creation / approval.
•Ensure correct contract[s] are assigned to the relevant requisitions.
•Be involved in the SAP PS [Project Systems] implementation and role out team during 2014 / 2015.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good organisational skills, demonstrate ability to prioritise work and consistently meet deadlines are required. The role offers a wide variety of tasks and operational pressures and the incumbent must be organized, flexible and resilient to deal with multiple requests for support and prioritise appropriately. Must be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Excellent communication skills are required (both oral and written) as the role requires regular communication with colleagues within the function and in other functions. Must be able to communicate clearly with management.

The incumbent should have the ability to work in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
