The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Engineer within the Castle Bromwich Manpower Planning Team to: Validate Trim & Final line balance actual against standard, identify and implement opportunities for improvement, summarise out & update all internal systems

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft applications - word, excel & PowerPoint Industrial Engineering background including Multiple Activity Chart, standard time generation via synthetics (MOST) & direct observation. Method study to drive improvement & set effective standard times and experience of assembly line balancing Ability to communicate effectively within a manufacturing environment and deal with demanding customers both from production & the new model programme team
Previous work within automotive manufacturing in the UK or abroad
IMS certificate or equivalent background training, MOST practioner is essential

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of existing JLR systems - GSPAS & APT
