The Company:
Our Client is an O&G exploration and production company based in Aberdeen who operate in the North Sea. They have interests in a large number of fields, the majority of which they operate, on the UK Continental Shelf with numerous offshore installations and one onshore terminal.

The Role:
Position Overview
The Maximo Project Manager will primarily be responsible for management and delivery of IBM Maximo WMS solution.

Accountabilities
The project manager will be accountable for:
* Management of project and modifications that are defined within scope of work of project
* Delivery to the agreed schedule or better
* Delivery within the approved budget
* Safe and environmentally responsible operation in the conduct of all activities
* Support the competence assurance model in their area of expertise
* Manage vendor relationships, business relationships and IT project resources

Key Duties
* Manage the appointed Systems Integrator, IT project team, business SMEs and MoC project teams.
* Maintain a regular dialogue with project personnel, stakeholders and project owner to ensure priorities are maintained
* Provide project reporting outputs to project owner and prepare documentation pack for periodic Steering Group presentations.
* Establish regular periodic reviews of project status including budget ,schedule, risk register, issues and change management status

Professional skills & experience
* Strong technical understanding of Oil and Gas processes
* Project management accreditation
* Significant experience gained in an onshore and/or offshore positions
* Experience in Work management/ERP solutions in an onshore and/or offshore environment
* A good understanding of all aspects of Management of Change (MoC) particularly in the oil and gas industry
* Knowledge of the UK regulatory regime
* Strong safety awareness
