The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator and has operations though out the world.

The Role:
The Measurement Engineer will provide technical support and assurance for measurement and metering for all hardware and software systems onshore, offshore, topsides, hull or subsea systems and R&D. The measurement systems employed within the E&P segment include continuous separator outflow and in-process measurements, multiphase and wet gas meters for both topsides and subsea, periodic well testing and associated nodal-type analysis, as well as the phase behaviour modelling. The Measurement Engineer will also be involved in the development and implementation of some of the most innovative and challenging flow measurement technologies including Subsea metering, application of phase behaviour modelling, well-head and down-hole metering applications, and non-intrusive sensor technology implementation.

The work includes:

- Specifying measurement systems and coordination of the field trials for all new equipment.
- Coordination of measurement of technical reviews for production partners, discrepancy problem investigations and recommendations.
- Develop the technical basis for regulatory permits and contractual negotiations.
- Development and maintenance of all corporate Measurement Engineering Technical Practices (ETPs).
- Provide technical guidance on application of codes, standards, project design criteria and ETPs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Significant experience with measurement and metering systems
- Knowledge of industry and government standards such as API, EI and ISO requirements for facilities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Chartered or Professional Engineer
- Project and operations experience in measurement engineering.
- Knowledge of material balance, data reconciliation and soft sensors.
- Experience of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS).
- Smart field instrumentation and Foundation Fieldbus experience.
