The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
- Act as Mechanical Engineering Discipline Lead and be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of Helium Project static elements, including piping and pressure vessel systems according to Project Specifications and international standards (ASME B31.1, ASME Sec II, ASME Sec VIII D1 and D2 etc.)
- Act as Packaged Equipment Lead and be responsible for acting as a multi-discipline engineering point of contact for the engineering design and implementation of major packaged equipment, including both warm cold (cryogenic). This will require coordination with other Engineering Discipline Leads (Process, Rotating, Instrumentation etc.)
- Assess any project risks and consider appropriate risk mitigation solutions to prevent any potential impact on project delivery, using Company’s Risk Management methods and standards.
- Coordinate engineering surveillance program activities with a focus on Licensor’s Packaged Equipment, particularly, Machinery.
- Monitor design progress for the major packaged equipment.
- Coordinate the engineering aspects of the design in support of the project objectives, with an overall understanding of how the Helium 3 Project Contracting Strategy will impact Company’s Project Interfaces.
- Monitor LICENSOR’s and EPC Contractor’s design performance and provide advice to ensure Company’s design goals, design philosophy and specifications are achieved.
- Coordinate and/or provide timely review of Licensor and EPC Contractor’s deliverables.
- Provide support to PMT Operations advisor.
- Assist PMT in meeting expectations as required.
- Conduct reviews of technical specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure they reflect the engineering requirements and comply with regulatory and international standards.
- Develop strong multi-disciplinary skills and contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks lending expertise in the Mechanical Engineering discipline of the PMT.
- Assist in the coordination of quality assurance / quality control functions of the Project.
- Control and supervise activities undertaken by Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers through timely audits and reviews.
- Assess technical deviations and recommend decisions in the field of Mechanical Engineering
- Participate in technical meetings with the Licensor and EPC Contractor and act as the Mechanical Engineering Discipline Lead.
- Maintain close liaison with multiple technical departments within Company and Project Shareholders where required.
- Mentor less experienced engineers to develop their capabilities.
- Demonstrate awareness and commitment to safety.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or Science in the area of specialization from an accredited university.
- 7 years + experience (Internal), 10 years (External).
- Demonstrable prior experience with cryogenic piping systems and fluent working knowledge of (ASME B31.1, ASME Sec II, ASME Sec VIII D1 and D2 etc.)
- Demonstrable prior experience in a multi-discipline engineering coordination role.
- Attains and maintains technical competence as per TC matrix
- Advanced knowledge of all relevant engineering software tools
- Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
- Computer literate.
