The Role:
Our Client is currently seeking a number of Mechanical Commissioning Specialists to work on 28/28 at a remote location in Kazakhstan.

The position will serve as client oversight of field commissioning of mechanical systems, including:

(1) utility piping,
(2) engineered mechanical packages for power generation, fire water, domestic water supply, and wastewater treatment,
(3) buildings,
(4) diesel fueling and various other mechanical systems.

Candidate will develop and review commissioning procedures and support contractor in both execution as well as trouble shooting of mechanical systems.

Will identify gaps and contractor's execution activities and fill gaps as necessary with personal expertise and knowledge.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 15 year experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years performing field commissioning work in the mechanical discipline (piping, machinery, packaged equipment).
Must be capable of overseeing contractor performing commissioning, intervene and complete field commissioning as required, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and effectively interface with construction, quality and operations to address system turnover and final handover.
Must have knowledge and experience to draft and review commissioning procedures for various types equipment, primarily utility systems and associated mechanical / electrical engineered equipment packages.
High level of proven interpersonal skills and communications skills are required for this position due to the large number of interfaces.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Additional qualifications that are a plus but not mandatory include: engineering degree, operations experience and construction experience.
Knowledge in water treatment facilities is also a plus.
