We are now looking for Mechanical Commissioning Technicians who can strengthen our team.

Responsibilities & Tasks The incumbent must have suitable engineering qualifications with experience in Mechanical Commissioning on major Oil and Gas projects and experience within the field of offshore commissioning
Greenfield commissioning experience an advantage
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Capable of line walks and mechanical completion acceptance
Familiar with GOC system and populating pre-commissioning test sheets
Filling accumulators with N2 & ensuring lube oil tanks/bottles are filled to the required level
Line walk and valve line up checks prior to commissioning runs
Supervise motor solo runs and recording data (vib, temp, speed together with Elec tech for Current, Voltage & Power)
Supervise pump coupled runs as per commissioning procedures and fault-finding if required
Assist with venting, bleeding, flange disconnection/re-connection using correct gaskets & torque

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Apprenticeship or level 2 NVQ equivalent in relevant trade discipline is essential
ONC in an engineering discipline or City and Guilds in a related trade or an NVQ level 3 in a related trade is preferred
PTW and ISSOW experience required
