The Company:
Our Client is a leading global operator in the oil and gas industry.

The Role:
-Champion Mechanical Completion Safety
-Develops plans for transitions from Construction (Area Based) to Mechanical Completion (System Base) to
System Completion
-Manages transition of Area based Construction Superintendents to that necessary for mechanical completion
-Manages Construction Superintendents for mechanical completion
-Interfaces with the Site Quality Advisor & Site Commissioning Lead for system completions database
management with regard to mechanical completion and administers mechanical completion record
management
-Coordinate interface and interaction with contractors and subcontractors, and with operations and drilling
personnel on site
-Have lead responsibility for commissioning planning, preparations, verification, and documentation
-Oversee the execution of mechanical completion of the structure and facilities
-Manage and facilitate contractor’s Permit-To-Work system ensuring implementation at the outset of the project
-Supports early implementation of the Flange Management Procedure through guidelines in the MC Toolkit
-Participates in the Construction Criticality Workshop to establish Quality Inspection & Testing Plan and levels of
MC inspection for Project team
-Oversight for Preservation Plan with Quality Group implementing levels, type, frequency, and storage location
of equipment and materials
-Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Site Manager
• Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members
• Coordination of MC planning, verification, and documentation by the use of Mechanical Completion Check
Records (MCCR’s) and Walk Down Check Lists (WDCL’s), punch lists, as-built drawing reviews, etc
• Coordinate interfaces and interactions between discipline/area leads and contractor mechanical completion (MC) group
• Tracking Mechanical Completion to Systems Completion integration to facilitate an effective commissioning campaign
• Responsible for overall coordination of mechanical completion discipline-related activities
• Provide input to and review development of contractor’s detailed plans to prioritize mechanical completion activities
• Monitor and appraise contractor construction activities and performance. Determine any corrective actions
needed in order to meet mechanical completion objectives and work to have these implemented
