The Role:
Maintain the Project Completion Management System (CCMS) covering all aspects of mechanical completion, for the Freon Replacement Project.

Ensure that all required completion certification information is populated in CCMS identifying mechanical completion requirements for each system or sub-system in conjunction with the detailed engineering/design contractor’s deliverables. Ensure these requirements are communicated and made available for implementation by the construction and commissioning groups.

Primary Functions:

- Work with the HUC, project engineering and commissioning groups to ensure that all deliverables required to define and execute the completions process are incorporated into CCMS.
- Maintain CCMS such that the degree of scope completion is understood at all times.
- Ensure all completion documentation requirements are populated and maintained, such as boundary limit drawings, punch lists, TQ’s, CMS change requests, etc.
- Ensure that the MC subsystem dossiers/packs are progressively and fully populated for handover. Work with the engineering/construction groups to ensure seamless handover from construction to commissioning.
- Prepare Regular and Ad Hoc Reports as required from system completion data as required by Construction Management.
- Participation in allocation, customization and verification of Mechanical Completion and Pre-Commissioning Inspection Test Records (ITR’s).
- Interface with Construction Supervisors and Engineers to ensure integrity of population of CCMS database and subsequent database modifications.

Critical Skills:

- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with Completion Management Systems and handover processes particularly associated with major oil and gas facilities.
- Oil and gas completions background (10-15 years).
- Experience in working with fabrication and construction personnel with respect to completion certification.
- Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic with a questioning and challenging attitude.
- Planning and organisation competency.
- Ability to make rational decisions when under pressure.

Preferred Requirements

- Experience in working with multi-discipline Mechanical Completion and Commissioning teams.
- Knowledge of Document Management Systems as they apply to Projects.
- A willingness to listen to others and incorporate best practices.

The major challenges are: (i) Working in a high pressure environment ensuring that CCMS is populated, run and maintained throughout the completions activities until handover to Commissioning. (ii) Ensure all completion certification documentation from Mechanical Completion is fully developed and verified. (iii) Ensuring a smooth handover of completed systems/part system to Commissioning
