The Role:

Mechanical Engineer with Fossil Power Generation experience capable of independently selecting and applying standard mechanical engineering techniques, standards, procedures and criteria
Able to perform elementary phases of engineering and design work, involving the preparation of detail designs, calculations, layouts, schedules, sketches and /or drawing from verbal instructions, rough sketches or simple diagrams.
May assist in the initial review and inspection of completed drawing prepared by lower level personnel for completeness, accuracy, technical adequacy, and compliance with applicable standard and specifications.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master Degree a plus
• Minimum of three (3) years applied engineering experience, preferably on fossil power steam and combustion turbine projects. Coal projects and renewable resource projects, is a plus.
• AutoCAD, Microstation and Smart Plant CAE proficiency desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering and management software such as and GT Pro/Steam Pro, CAESAR II, FATHOM, Microsoft Project and Primavera, is a plus.
• Able to interact with other departments in the corporation to coordinate technical and administrative activities; may involve some direct outside contacts of a limited nature.
• Candidate must have very good oral and written communications skills in Thai and English
