The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
Provide mechanical engineering support to operating facilities and project design functions. Provide technical support during the project FEL process regarding new and/or revamp projects to provide appropriate input for any mechanical engineering issues. Work with senior engineers to provide technical support to operating facilities for problem solving and development of recommendations to reduce or eliminate premature failures. Keep abreast of new developments in applicable codes in order to address problems with the latest technology available. Assists in the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Performs product development activities including drawing board layout and interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements. Provides existing product line support in design activities and/or modification of hardware in production. Conducts engineering studies and may assign work to technical drafting staff. Typically requires up to three years of experience in the field or in a related area. Works with close supervision within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree preferred.
