Due to increased operational demands, we are currently recruiting an experienced Underground Mechanical Engineer/Co-ordinator for an immediate start. We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated experience completing project works associated with Underground Coal Mining Infrastructure, Continuous Miners, Diesel Equipment, Compressed Air and Water Services; Pipes and Pumps. To be successful in this position you will have a strong safety culture, high level of skill in Underground Coal Mining and be an active member of the Emerald and Capella community.

In return, these positions offer

  • Immediate Start - 6 -12-month project
  • $80.00 Per Hour + Super on all hours worked
  • Monday to Friday Roster - 45 Hours Per Week
  • Residential role - Be home every night!
  • Local onsite point of contact

The successful candidate will have
Demonstrated experience in the following fields

  • Underground Coal Mining- Project development and delivery - small to medium sized mechanical projects
  • Dealing with suppliers and equipment manufacturers
  • Qualifications - Trade or Tertiary
    • Mechanical Trade or Bachelor of Engineering Degree - Mechanical
  • Current Underground Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
  • Current QLD Underground Coal Board Medical
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Proof of Australian Working Rights i.e., Australian Birth Certificate or Passport
