The Company:
Our client is an International Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company with operations in 16 countries, they have achieved spectacular growth in the past ten years, growth which they expect to continue.

There Southern North Sea (North) facility comprises both on and offshore natural gas production and processing facilities. They include 18 offshore producing gas platforms off the east coast of Yorkshire.

The Role:
Description of role
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Individual to be part of a dynamic team. In this role there is a heavy bias towards offshore and Dimlington site attendance in to drive, plan and schedule all mechanical maintenance activities and modifications for SNSN
Key responsibilities include:
• Ability to diagnose mechanical equipment faults or failures in a systematic and methodical way, in order to rectify issues in a timely manner
• Have a working knowledge of applicable legislation and standards for the mechanical discipline such as PFEER, ATEX, PED, etc
• Carry out equipment failure and incident investigations using a root causes analysis method
• Specification, maintenance and fault finding of mechanical static equipment for a variety of services, ranging from valves, actuators,, pipes and fittings
• Specification, maintenance and fault finding of a variety of pumps including positive displacement, progressive cavity, centrifugal and diaphragm types
• Specification, maintenance and fault finding of reciprocating diesel and gas driven engines for power generation systems in addition to their ancillary equipment
• Maintenance of HVAC systems and their components such as inlet/outlet dampers
• Maintenance , specification & fault finding of air compressors
• Design maintenance and fault finding of hydraulic systems and their components including accumulators, regulators, PSV’s and solenoid valves
• Ability to generate and review technical specifications and design proposal documents in addition to the ability to read technical drawings
Qualifications:
The Individual will ideally be a Chartered Engineer and member of an appropriate institution or have relevant experience in the offshore industry.
