The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
The client is looking for a general mechanical engineer for the next 3 to 6 months, for a gas sweetening project.

Job Description
Mechanical engineer experience is essential for the role. The person will have a static mechanical engineering background with some piping experience.
Experience with the following equipment required:
• Heat exchangers (pipe and pipe, shell and tube etc.)
• Electric heaters
• Air Coolers
• Tanks
• Filters

Review contractor’s technical documentation and check technical compliance to Client's specifications and standards.
Respond to Contractor’s technical queries raised within the appropriate cycle.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the gas sweetening project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must have good communication skills and sound knowledge on MS Office programs.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of packaged equipment, module layout and piping valves and specialty items will be an advantage.
Chartered member of the IMechE
