The Company:
Our client is is the worldwide leader in tetherless, through-wall remote-controlled pipeline pressure isolation services. They minimize pipeline downtime through fast-track delivery of project-specific pigging, repair and handling tools, both onshore and offshore. They provid customers with products and services they need for pipeline maintenance and construction.

The Role:
Design new products and/or improvements to existing and new product lines, and provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure that internal and external customers receive delivery on time with conforming, quality and safe products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
Mechanical design (50%)
- Designs products and solutions in accordance with the engineering procedures e.g. technical reviews, customers requirements and applicable codes, preparation and verification of schematics,
- Creates 3D design and production (2D) drawings using existing CAD tools,
- Issues and maintains specifications needed by Purchasing department to supply materials required for manufacturing of orders,
- Develops and maintains calculation notes according to applicable codes in coordination with Principal Engineer,
- Follows-up of manufacturing and QC activities for products and engineered solutions;

Operational excellence (10%)
- Develops and maintains procedures related to manufacturing, assembly, testing and service of products and equipment,
- Participates as technical expertise in field operations and installations when required,
- Performs construction and assembly of products and engineered solutions,
- Assists in resolution of non conformities and customer claims and take necessary actions,

Technology development & support (40%)
- Assists and/ or leads mechanical FEA calculations,
- Participates in the establishment of quotations and in the resolution of non conformities and customer claims,
- Provides technical and application expertise and experience,
- Manages or participates in product standardization projects, engineered solutions projects and product design innovation projects,
- Works independently with high level of technical and applications expertise,
- Leads in developing cost estimates and schedules for projects,
- Advices Commercial Services in establishment of quotations regarding technical and financial aspects,
- Provides high level of technical expertise in a broad range of competencies in client contact and sales activity as required,
- Provides guidance and technical expertise regarding mechanical equipment in operational projects to relevant managers and personnel as required.Relationships with others
- Reports to the Sustainable Engineering Supervisor,
- Provides costumers with technical solutions resulting in highest costumer satisfaction,
- Ensures that the Technology Services department is supplying departments with appropriate information and material in due time ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering technical solutions,

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering masters degree in mechanics or equivalent, combined with min 5 years experience in engineering,
- Senior level engineer role based on proven track record, application experience, technical knowledge, high degree of independence and broad range of various competencies, including commercial skills,
- Abilities to work in team and to take initiatives independently,
- Stress resilient and able to multitask,
- Ability to work in an international environment,
- Good communication skills in English,
- IT literate, experience of CAD system.
