The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an Oil & Gas operator within Italy

Location: Florence with some trips to the Middle East
Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Rates: Day rate circa £540 GBP per day, extra allowance for business trips to Middle East
Accommodation: Provided
Flights: 2 business flights per year provided
Days worked: Monday to Friday

Applicants must have at least 10-15 year experience with static equipment and piping.
Have good knowledge about relevant codes and standards.
Have experience with brown field projects
Has experience in reviewing engineering documents and manage the contractor to perform as per relevant standards and codes
Preferably has experience in maintenance and/or inspection activities
Rehabilitate the compression stations in Middle East

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 Years+ experience in a Mechanical Role within the Oil & Gas industry
Applicants must be able to speak English
EU Citizen or able to work in Italy without a visa

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Italian and French language skills are advantageous
