The Role:
Onshore position - City Centre Based. Major FPSO operator.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to Assistant Operations Manager, the main duties will include:

Interfacing with other relevant department / functions to ensure important issues are communicated.
Ensuring offshore maintenance work is implemented in accordance with appropriate procedures & established good working practices.
Interfacing with Technical Authorities ensuring alignment & compliance with corporate policy.
Optimising planned maintenance requirements to ensure availability & reliability are maximised cost effectively, providing processes and performance monitoring.
Provide input to other asset plans as required.
Co-ordination or service and support vendors for scheduled equipment maintenance ensuring procedures and work packs are in place, materials are available and vendor personnel are prepared for offshore activities ensuring all aspects or work are planned and resourced efficiently.
Responding to equipment breakdown / failures; defining and executing remedial action plans.
Co-ordination and follow up of repair / servicing of plant items returned onshore.
Ensuring that all appropriate mechanical maintenance and technical records including plant history are updated as required using maximo. Manage Maximo change request process and facilitate stakeholder / Technical Authority input as required.
Reviewing types or stock holding levels of spare parts, and optimize the inventory and stock management in conjunction with offshore and onshore materials.
Providing the detailed input to annual budgets ensuring planned budget maintenance activities are delivered whilst maintaining cost visibility and control of expenditure within approved budget.
Providing detailed input to management of change / manage assigned maintenance change proposals as required.
Ensuring SCE maintenance & verification activities are performed in compliance with performance standards & ensure feedback / reporting is available to onshore management.
Providing input to and/or rectify maintenance related anomalies when required.
Acting as a custodian of asset maintenance strategy and providing input to HAZOP/HAZID & risk assessment processes when required.
Member of onshore emergency response team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Have a HND/HNC/BSC in mechanical engineering, or similar.
Have substantial discipline engineering experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Be familiar and conversant with Maximo or similar CMS.
Be skilled in the application of analytical tools and processes; FMEA, RCA, RAM.
