The Role:
Purpose:
This position acts as the primary point of contact for offshore asset teams to provide discipline mechanical engineering support, implementing agreed maintenance routines and coordinating corrective actions to address equipment breakdowns.

Accountabilities and End Results:
Specific responsibilities include:
•Responsible for monitoring equipment/system performance, initiating and ensuring corrective actions, providing mechanical discipline engineering support for operations and maintenance activities.
•Responsible for identifying and delivering maintenance and recovery plans to address equipment break-down, including liaising with vendors, arranging equipment and material supply, and ensuring correct representation of assigned workscopes in the integrated asset plan.


Primary Functions & Dimensions:
•Primary point of contact for offshore asset teams to provide discipline mechanical engineering support.
•Responsible for delivering agreed maintenance programmes and repairs, working with vendors, material suppliers etc.
•Responsible for working in accordance with Integrated Planning processes and other key controlling procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key leadership skills required:
•Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multidiscipline integrated operations environment to deliver positive results.
•Significant operational and engineering experience.
•Set ambitious, yet realistic goals and targets, and consistently achieve these.
•Management of work programmes within cost and schedule commitments.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Requirements
•Technical University degree (BSc or higher) or equivalent.
•relevant technical experience
•Offshore experience
•Familiarity with SAP maintenance management software.
