The Role:
Be responsible and accountable for coordination between NGE and EFP, confirm deliverables to engineering projects for all Mechanical installations including HVAC system for National Security Shield (NSS), and assist NGE/2 to handover the new plants to NG operations.

1. Review, comment and endorse NSS engineering drawings for mechanical packages and report discrepancies to lead facilities engineer to ensure operations will have the same specified equipment technically and dimension identically fit the location and easily accessible for operations' needs.
2. Review, comment and endorse NSS engineering documentation for mechanical packages and report discrepancies to lead facilities engineer to ensure that operations will receive proper documentation/manuals to carry out the short and long term maintenance schedule.
3. Review, comment and endorse mechanical technologies selected for NSS packages and report discrepancies / inadequacies for offshore installation to lead facilities engineer to ensure operations will receive proper equipment that last for the minimum design life and require minimum attendance.
4. Coordinate with operation and maintenance teams the condition monitoring principle, condition maintenance (Reliability centered maintenance, RCM), identifies chronic maintenance problems and recommend appropriate method for implementation to adopt post plant handover.
5. Oversee and supervise Contractor's site construction activities, follow-up the progress versus the execution plans and report to lead facilities engineer the actual progress and any anomalies for further assessment to anticipate with proper actions and prevent the eventual delays.
6. Assess Contractor work quality on the drawings, general documentation and on site implementation, properly advise contractor I sub-contractor staff to comply with OP rules to avoid unforeseen problems.
7. Participate as a functional member of HAZ1D (Hazard identification), HAZOP
(Hazard & Operability) and SYSOP (System operability) review teams of projects within and outside the department to ensure that all the safety aspects are fulfilled by the contractors prior to plant handover to operations.
8. Participate in mandatory safety checks, including testing and checking of the systems, units and integrity of equipment to avoid any unforeseen safety condition to operations crew.
9. Study all work scopes in detail, verify technical data against relevant standards and specifications, review/comment documents and propose solutions, provide recommendations to NGE/2 and NGE for approval.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. B.Sc Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electra-Mechanical, Hydraulic, Static.
2. Good knowledge of quality management system, international standards and specifications.
3. In addition to engineering work career, have minimum 5 years practical experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of projects related to oil & gas / petrochemical industry.
