The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. The Role:
o Review planned maintenance routines and carry out optimization studies within the Mechanical discipline to minimize the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability
o Provide support on Mechanical maintenance and certification activities, advising on proposed modifications to facilities
o Ensure that all appropriate Mechanical maintenance and technical records including plant history are updated as required using Maximo
o Review the types of stock holding levels of Mechanical equipment held as spare parts, and optimize the inventory, stock management and co-ordination of the ordering of spares in conjunction with the Materials Co-Ordinator
o Attend Maintenance Morning call
o Manage and execute all daily actions from the installations to ensure that priorities will be achieved
o Continually review effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems and Reliability / Availability performance of assets
o Key role in ensuring that technical integrity is not compromised on a installation through any maintenance activities
o Provide expert discipline advice and expertise to offshore teams to ensure excellent maintenance performance
o Continually monitor all Operational Excellence / Maintenance related business targets and report where required to onshore Maintenance Co-Ordinator
o Ensure critical maintenance activities are accurately reflected in asset plans
o Ensure the use of subcontractors is managed and delivers value to the operation
o Monitor and report on progress and effectiveness
o Support integrated planning process to minimise plant downtime and optimise resources to ensure the completion of critical and breakdown maintenance activities
o Participate in the AFA process and provide technical and planning expertise to ensure modifications are implemented on time and within budget
o Manage allocated operations Maintenance budget effectively with minimum waste
o Ensure TAR related activity and all Pre/Post related Tar activities are supported and prioritized ensuring maximum efficiency
o Actively work to reduce and manage Maintenance backlogs
o Apply RCA techniques to solve problems
o Be a ‘Champion' to Introduce ‘Innovation', new ideas, change, into the asset with respect to maintenance in it's broadest sense to improve overall performance
o Work as part of multidiscipline onshore support team and provide support for other team members as appropriate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HND or ideally degree qualified in a Mechanical engineering discipline
• Previous offshore maintenance and operations experience within the oil and gas industry preferred

• Strong maintenance technical experience
• Strong drive and delivery focus
• Good team player
