The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Function:
• Undertaking Mechanical installation from detailed mechanical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:
• Adherence to Company Policy, Procedures.
• Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
• To perform tasks as may be requested by Management.
• Be responsible for general good housekeeping and safe working practises in the workshop and on facility.
• Interpretation of drawings and documentation.
• The layout and fitting out of equipment, brackets etc on racks, skids, on facility, or as required.
• The mechanical assembly, levelling and alignment of equipment to drawing and specification requirements.
• The checking and testing of equipment and recording test results and technical details.
• Liaise with inspectors as required.
• The cleaning and protection of work and equipment.
• Quality assurance and control.
• Ensuring the suitability and correctness of tools, test and measuring equipment.
• Assistance with loading, unloading, packing and delivery of equipment and be familiar with specialist inspection instructions including pre-installation inspection.
• Withdrawal of correct materials/equipment from Stores.
• Report all aspects of their work to the Facility Supervisor.
• Be responsible for the accuracy and content of their own work.
• Individual risk awareness within job role.
• Cable Management and housekeeping.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Successful SHE Induction
• Previous experience on construction sites, working to stringent tolerances.
• An understanding of Company Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental systems and programmes.
• Communicate in a positive manner with shop floor personnel and discipline supervisor
• Completed a recognised training programme e.g. Time-served apprenticeship.
• Fitters will, when required, attend new courses to maintain competence in line with new standards and techniques.
• Assist in the training of apprenticeships, students and new employees.
