The Role:
Position Responsibilities
Pre-Operations Phase
• Anticipated assignment to the commissioning team located in Ulsan for 6 – 9 months working on the overall commissioning effort, for followed by Offshore Myanmar.
• Interface with company for the successful commissioning planning and follow with commissioning activities for platform facilities.
• Assist in Initial organization of the maintenance group to include regional consultants and national staff.
• Specification of all maintenance / workshop tools to be purchased.
• Ensure that Vendor training meets with the company’s requirements.
• Review and comment on the generic planned maintenance routines created by others.
• Produce isolations drawings for all instrument equipment for corrective and planned maintenance routines.
• In conjunction with the offshore maintenance team, establish maintenance and integrity KPIs for the operations phase.
• Support interfacing with Company & contractor for a successful and well-defined handover process of facilities and export pipeline, including the maintenance dossier (technical records and relevant data for the facility) from the EPCIC contractor.
• Accepts responsibility to produce deliverables that leads to a ‘flawless start-up’
Operations Phase
• Support and organize first-gas’ and early operations for key equipment requiring vendor reps and obtaining key baseline performance data.
• Assist the maintenance group staff and ensure teamwork among the team and in relations to the other operating groups.
• Provide supervision of vendor service contract personnel for site surveys and inspections.
• Liase with the onshore maintenance support group (discipline engineers and technical authorities) for equipment repairs, associated maintenance and troubleshooting, and shutdown planning.
• Attend as required the weekly planning meeting.
• Liase with the Planner for the scheduling and release of planned maintenance routines per the 14-day plan and monitor performance via KPIs.
• Analyzes facility/equipment repair trends identifying root causes for the purpose of defect elimination and availability / reliability improvement.
• Own, progress, and deliver the development and competency assessment of national staff within the maintenance group.
• Supervise the safe and effective execution of planned maintenance in cooperation with the operations supervisor of the facility.
• Assist the onshore maintenance group in the development of annual inspection plans for facilities and the 32” export pipeline.
• Be aware and strictly follow all company procedures & policies as applies to the facility and site,.
• Assist in the implementation of company safety and environmental procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Personal Attributes, Education & Qualifications
• Fluency in English, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and personnel management skills.
• Culturally aware and experience in working with multi-national workforces.
• Computer literate. Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred) & systems.
• Ideally possess relevant trade qualification .
• Emergency Response team member.
• Industry approved apprenticeship preferred.
• Commissioning and start up experience.
Position Recommended Qualifications, Experience & Skills;
• At least 10 years oil and gas industry experience in relevant maintenance role.
• At least 5 years in a significant lead technician role with demonstrated skills to successfully implement maintenance best practices, and management of change..
• Excellent technical knowledge of maintenance methods and equipment, especially within own qualified discipline.
• Experienced with ISSOW and able to participate

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Other skills
• Coach & Mentor the Myanmar National Staff to ensure they are in compliance with all HSE guidelines whilst utilizing best Industry practices.
• Set quantifiable expectations and assist in annual performance reviews for all maintenance staff (in conjunction with back-to-back alternate).
