The Role:
This position is for a Mechanical Maintenance Development Engineer to supplement the existing team members and support existing and upcoming projects. Position will be ongoing.

Key tasks are those involved in preparing maintenance support for engineering modifications and projects, including:



Appropriate application of standard strategies and PM routines to new or replacement equipment both on and offshore oil & gas installations
Review/modify PM schedules
Preparation of schedule and task information for upload to CMMS
Liaise with Technical Authorities in the development and/or approval of new PM routines and Standard Tasks as required
Spares requirement assessment
Blank sheet maintenance programme development
Take into account all relevant Industry and Client procedures, guidance, etc, relating to the work, which will ensure compliance with Safety Management, Performance Standards and Verification Schemes
HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
CMMS experience preferably SAP or Maximo.
Must possess previous experience within a similar role in the oil and gas industry
Experience in the practical application of maintenance engineering tools is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of the practical and technical requirements of implementing maintenance review projects.
Sound technical knowledge of equipment in the oil & gas industry and current maintenance standards and practices.
Knowledge of technical integrity. performance standards and verification schemes.
Offshore experience would be an advantage.
Candidates should possess good technical authorship skills, ability to review and prepare PM routines and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to create effective working relationships within the Maintenance group, other disciplines and with the Client.
