The Role:
Commitment to Incident Free operations and actively promote within their team.
*Provide technical input as Mechanical Subject Matter Expert within the Offshore Operations team.
*Support the development and implementation of the Maintenance Build (including SAP, Maintenance and Assurance Schedules) for all mechanical related activities.
*Support the identification, assessment review and procurement of Operational Spares and the development of critical spares listings for Mechanical systems.
*Support the development of the Project competency management system for the Mechanical Team.
*Support stages of Detailed Design, based in Singapore at the EPC Contractor's shipyard on a residential basis to provide Operation's input in support of commissioning activities.
*Work with the Project Team to develop the interfaces between Maintenance, Operations, Construction and the HUC Team to deliver a smooth, Incident Free startup of Project production.
*Transfer to an offshore rota to support HUC and operations.

*Actively support a working environment based on respect for health, safety and environmental issues and maintenance of a high level of asset integrity.
*Execute duties as specified in the emergency response procedures or as directed by OIM.
*Participate as a member of the FSO Chief Engineers team in delivering performance against agreed targets.
*Build effective working relationships with other departments and shifts.
*Ensure the Mechanical maintenance task is executed efficiently, liaising with other departments' Supervisors to minimise equipment down time.
*Safe and efficient operation of static and rotating mechanical equipment and associated systems in accordance with the Company and statutory requirements.
*Safeguarding the reliability, availability and operational condition of static and rotating mechanical equipment and systems, sufficient to meet the agreed operational availability targets. An extensive knowledge in mechanical and process equipment and systems are essential.
*Proficient in the use of bolt tensioning equipment and optical alignment equipment.
*Carry out isolations / de-isolations as required and perform preventive maintenance and repairs activities safely and efficiently on a wide range of mechanical, process, utilities and associated systems and equipment.
*Report underlying causes of failures identified and take appropriate action to avoid repeat failures.
*Ensure necessary and timely preparation for activities is undertaken, including the raising of relevant work permits.
*Highlight defects with procedures, equipment and tools to the attention of relevant staff.
*Liaise with Projects team and vendors to maintain accurate and pertinent maintenance records and enter data into the appropriate information management systems.
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
*Maintain adequate stocks of mechanical, process equipment and materials.
*Commit to the Client Competency System and undertake any training / assessments required
*Comply with Company procedures and ensure handovers with all relevant information are undertaken at the end of shift and mobilisation.
*Encourage good, open communication promoting ownership, engagement and adherence to Client values.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*N/SVQ Process Engineering Maintenance and Process Level 3 or equivalent.
*Detailed knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices applicable to offshore oil and gas assets associated technical standards, processes and relevant legislation.
*Competent to carry out planned mechanical maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance system.
*Competent to conduct fault finding, installation, isolation and re-instatement on process and mechanical systems and equipment - both rotating and static.
*Valid Abrasive wheels, Authorised Gas Tester level 1 and Flange bolting and Integrity preferred.
*Experienced in the control and use of Safe Systems of Work (PTW) procedures.
*Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
*Prior SAP experience advantageous.
*Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
*Project experience at the Detailed Design /
