The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Position reports to Client Lead Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineering Manager. Principal Engineering position in charge of ensuring that the EPCm Contractor maintains design engineering integrity throughout the life of the project in all project locations.

Scope will include:- Ensuring engineering designs and equipment are specified / completed / manufactured / commissioned to meet Client safety, reliability and efficiency taragets.

Position will be the primary Client design engineering focal point for all piping and pipelines specifications, valves, fittings and bulk commodities throughout FEED and detailed engineering.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Design engineering experience on Major Capital Projects in the Oil and Gas Industry.
2. Experience and understanding of the various ASME / API codes and standards relating to piping / pipelines equipment, valves, fittings and bulk commodities. This includes valve actuation systems such as hydraulic and pneumatic.
3. Experience of high pressure sour gas plant equipment and relevant NACE requirements would be advantageous.
4. Experience of modular design and associated weight / space constraints would also be advantageous.
5. Ability to work with contractor and stakeholders in a constructive way to influence application of project processess and procedures.
6. Ability to work well within an integrated one-team environment between the client and contractor.
