The Role:
Department: Technical Support Group, Thailand
Report to: Engineering Team Leader Thailand
Working Schedule and Place of Work:Regular working times: 9:00 – 17:30, Monday - Friday, in Bangkok Office.

Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Project Engineer will cooperate with the Sales Department, Tendering Support Department and relevant group teams, such as engineering department from other locations, to participate in the technical communications actively with clients;
- The Mechanical Project Engineer will be involved in identifying suppliers and evaluating vendor bids for all mechanical design, equipment and commodities (e.g. steel structures, ducts, transport systems, pressure parts, flue gas cleaning systems, site installation, design integration);
- The Mechanical Project Engineer will work closely with local and / or other location supply chain and engineering team to figure out equipment specification and sizing, data sheets, material requisitions, vendor data review and key documents such as scope of work, design criteria, man-hour estimates and schedules, equipment lists, equipment specifications, quality plans, safety instructions, installation instructions, and keep job records;
- The Mechanical Project Engineer will coordinate with Project Manager, taking part in design liaison meetings, as a representative professional;
- The Mechanical Project Engineer will deal with on-site problems during installation and commissioning period with engineering support within group;
- Other temporary tasks in accordance with qualifications of employee may be assigned anytime, including the support of other functions within the company.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience of mechanical system design specification, production, quality supervision, installation and/or maintenance,
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Automation or Thermal Power Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of mechanical engineering facility design. Know well the Thai and international design codes, standards and regulations.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks are integral to this role.
- Fluent Thai and very good English language capabilities (speaking and writing) are a requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good command of AutoCAD is required.
- Work experience in an engineering company is preferred.
- International engineering experience is beneficial.
- EPC project execution experience is an asset.
- Supervisory and project management skills are assets
